About This Course
The Carbon Accounting (NCS-019:2024) programme is developed based on the National Competency Standard to produce competent individuals capable of performing carbon accounting activities at the organisational level.
The programme covers the following competencies:
- Identifying carbon accounting principles and requirements
- Determining quantification boundaries and emission sources
- Preparing and managing greenhouse gas (GHG) emission data
- Identifying appropriate emission factors
- Performing carbon emission calculation and reporting
The training emphasises the acquisition of knowledge and practical skills in accordance with recognised international guidelines and standards such as IPCC, UNFCCC, the GHG Protocol, and ISO 14064.
